Common questions
How much does it cost to hire dhol players?
Prices depend on the players' experience, your location, availability, timings and requirements. Our guide explains indicative starting prices and what affects them.
How many dhol players should I book?
Two or four players are popular choices, although one may be suitable for smaller events. Larger teams can also be arranged, subject to the venue, availability and budget.
What can dhol players perform at?
Dhol players can perform at wedding entrances, baraats, receptions, DJ fusion sets, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events and other celebrations.
Why can multiple performances cost more?
A long gap between performances may mean the players need to remain at the venue for several hours. This additional time can affect the price, even if the total playing time is relatively short.
Can dhol players perform at venues with sound limiters?
Sometimes, but you must check the venue's rules. Dhol is naturally loud and can trigger certain sound-limiting systems. Even one player may exceed the permitted level, so venue approval is essential.
